It happens to me a lot to start an anime and after the first episode(s) drop it or leave it to watch somewhen; To be honest the only titles I 've managed to watch completely interested me in some way. So maybe I am a little choosy :P
Some of the animes I dropped are:
Final fantasy unlimited (I 've got bored within the first episode!)
Elf princess Rane (it seemed too idiotic as a scenario)
Kemono Zume (I've watched only 10 minutes of it! I couldn't stand the design!)

Some of the animes I left to watch somewhen:
Rahxephon, Shingetsutan Tsukihime, Gunslinger girl, Serial experiments Lain

A friend of mine had the first vol and lent it to me so I can read it. I liked so much that the next thing I 've done was going to the nearest shop with manga and buying it;
